Promenade of Cabers

​Don’t miss the Promenade of Cabers with pipes and drums through the streets of Verdun! Taking place three days before the big day, this event marks the ceremonial arrival of the Games in the city.

Our starting point is Parc des Madelinots (corner of Lasalle and Wellington). We will meet there at 6:30 pm and make our way along Wellington, up 2e Avenue, and then to the Verdun Borough Hall (corner of Verdun and Willibrord) where there will be a “Scots in the Park” celebration. Feel free to join in behind the pipes, drums, dancers and caber-bearers as they make their way toward the festivities at the end. And make sure you wear some tartan!​
